Steps to Ownership

We’ll introduce you to the ACA model, explain the benefits of franchising with ACA, and share our vision for growth. We’ll learn about you, your experience practicing medicine, your interest in being an ACA franchise owner, and your goals in the next chapter of your career.

After the initial call, if we both wish to proceed, we will ask you to complete a formal application to pre-qualify for a franchise. This will provide us essential information about you and your interest in our franchise opportunity. Please provide accurate and detailed responses, as this will assist us in understanding your background and qualifications. Once we receive your information, our team will carefully review your submission. We will assess your qualifications, experience, and overall fit with the ACA brand. Our goal is to ensure a mutually beneficial experience where you can thrive.

Once we receive and approve your completed application, we will follow the formal steps of providing our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) to you. This document has details you’ll need to evaluate your decision to own an ACA Franchise.

After receiving the FDD, there is a mandatory two-week review period for all potential signers of the Franchise Agreement (FA). The awarding of a franchise follows strict regulations dictated by the Federal Trade Commission as well as state regulatory agencies. During this two-week review period we will highlight important sections, review many small details, and answer any questions you may have regarding franchise ownership, to ensure that all parties understand the nature of the agreement. After review of the FDD you may request that a Franchise Agreement (FA) be prepared. The Franchise Agreement is a legal contract that establishes ownership of an ACA Franchise.

After signing of the franchise agreement and payment of the initial franchise fee we will work with you to assess markets in your area and collaborate with a commercial real estate agent to identify strong office locations. We also have a team available to assist with site selection, bids, construction management, buildout design, office decoration, and furnishings.

While your site is under construction, you’ll meet with our Operations and Training Teams, who will guide you to your grand opening and work with you to prepare for running a successful practice.
