ACA Franchise Training and Support
We are dedicated to ensuring that the staff of each ACA franchise receives adequate training and support to ensure they are successful. Patients need to receive extraordinary care, and ACA owners need to be able to reap the lifestyle benefits of owning their own business. After completing a franchise agreement, ACA personnel will provide the following:
This is a summary of training and support services that will be provided. Specific information regarding ACA’s post-agreement obligations will be found in our Franchise Disclosure Document and Franchise Agreement.
Training in Addiction Medicine:
- Dr. Lee Tannenbaum, Medical Director and Founder, and Lisa Tannenbaum PA-C, the ACA director of training, will meet with the medical provider(s) to provide addiction medicine training as needed. We have multiple training presentations and are able to do these trainings both either in-person or virtually. ACA medical personnel are on call 24/7, 365 days per year to provide medical consultations as needed to assist with patient management issues. Treatment paradigms for any issue that might be encountered in addiction medicine will be provided. Ongoing trainings will be provided as needed based on changes and advances in the field of addiction medicine.
Office Setup:
- ACA staff will ensure that office designs are optimal for ensuring efficient operations in a safe and welcoming environment. This includes assistance and guidance in selecting an office location as well as designing the layout, buildout, setup, and decoration of the office. A comfortable, well-designed, patient-centered care and work setting is critical to realizing the benefits of being an ACA patient or owner.
Office Operations:
- Each ACA franchisee will receive a proprietary Policy & Procedure (P&P) Manual which will give guidelines on the above topics and more. ACA personnel will assist in development and execution of required office functions, for example:
- Lease agreements
- Required patient registration information
- Required HIPAA notifications and consent forms
- Practices needed to ensure patient confidentiality
- Other forms and documents
- Staffing needs, requirements, training, and compensation models
- Financial operations including patient fee collection, productivity reports, and revenue and expense tracking.
- Patient scheduling
- On call operations
- IT systems, phone service, computers, and adequate internet service
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system use and optimization
- Clinical documentation
- Risk Mitigation
- Advertising, development of referral sources, and attraction of new patients
- Ongoing support as needed for any problems that develop in any area of operations
